# EdgeBook > EdgeBook is a chart-first trading journal for discretionary traders. It starts from the chart screenshots traders already take instead of broker P&L imports: drop in a screenshot, tag the setup, grade the execution, write the note, and link the trade to a setup in your Model Playbook, which keeps score of which setups work. $33/month or $299/year, one feature set, cancel anytime. EdgeBook is built for day traders, swing traders, and futures traders across stocks, options, futures, and crypto who screenshot charts from TradingView or their broker. No broker connection is needed. - Seven built-in tag groups (Market Structure, Volatility, Session, Entry Quality, Exit Quality, Psychology, Mistakes) plus unlimited custom tags, combined with filters for status, symbol, setup, result, direction, rating, and date range. - Model Playbook: each setup has entry rules, a Required/Bonus/Avoid checklist, example charts, and notes; linked trades show which setups produce results. - Kanban review board (Draft, Ready for Review, In Review, Reviewed), plus grid and table views and saved views. - Trade sharing by link with comments, and Trader Packs for studying other traders' charts. - MCP server: connect Claude, Cursor, VS Code, ChatGPT (on plans with developer mode), or another MCP-capable AI app by signing in with your EdgeBook account (OAuth, no API key). The agent can log a trade from your notes, attach a chart screenshot through a one-time upload link, look up your trades and setups, and read and reply to comments. - EdgeBook AI: an assistant that searches your trades and notes, reads your chart screenshots, and prepares edits you approve. Each plan includes a monthly AI allowance. It analyzes trades you have logged and does not give investment advice; EdgeBook is not a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer. ## Pages - [Home](https://www.edgebook.io/): product overview, pricing, and FAQ - [Screenshot trading journal](https://www.edgebook.io/screenshot-trading-journal): how EdgeBook journals trades from chart screenshots (drop or paste, tag, annotate, search, review, share) - [AI trading journal](https://www.edgebook.io/ai-trading-journal): EdgeBook AI in the app, and the MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and VS Code - [About](https://www.edgebook.io/about): who built EdgeBook and why - [Privacy Policy](https://www.edgebook.io/privacy) - [Terms of Service](https://www.edgebook.io/terms) - [Free trading journal template](https://www.edgebook.io/trading-journal-template): a free standalone CSV for Excel or Google Sheets, review prompts, and an illustrative review note; no signup required - [Pricing](https://www.edgebook.io/pricing): $33 USD monthly or $299 USD yearly, included features, renewal terms, AI allowance and cancellation - [Screenshot vs broker-import journals](https://www.edgebook.io/screenshot-vs-broker-import-journal): a workflow comparison, capture and reconciliation checks, and when to use both records ## Docs - [Documentation](https://docs.edgebook.io/): how to use EdgeBook - [Docs index for LLMs](https://docs.edgebook.io/llms.txt) - [Connect an AI agent](https://docs.edgebook.io/integrations/mcp): read and write your EdgeBook journal from an MCP-capable AI client ## Optional - [Web app](https://app.edgebook.io): sign in or subscribe - Contact: alex@edgebook.io
